I'm soooo busy

I am getting worn out by all the busy people I come in contact with. Seems like every time I ask someone how they are doing the reply is something along the line of "Oh, I am just sooo busy" or "Things are just so crazy right now". Mostly this is from the yuppie/soccer parent types. I am not sure if it is the economy and we have nothing else better to brag about, so we use our lack of time to demonstrate how important we are. Or a few people started speaking this way and it spread like wildfire. Seriously, are you really that busy? If so it is likely because you decided to have too many kids to fit in with whatever clique you decided you wanted to fit into. Then you want to have your child involved in every possible activity so your child (let's be honest, it's all about you) can be exposed to every possible sport and activity. Here is my solution. Ladies, keep your legs crossed and stop popping out kids. Guys, give up your five minutes of pleasure knocking up your wife. This way you can stop trying to one up everyone else about how busy you are. Then you can do whatever the hell you want to do. Nobody cares, they are just listening to you enough to wait for an opening to one up you in the busy department. I am at the point that I just enjoy telling people I have nothing going on. That I am mainly sitting on my ass, picking my nose and butt, eating chocolates, watching Oprah and Ellen, and just waiting for phone calls from people with self inflated egos. ibf.
