Tales of a Black Sheep part 2

Tags: Family, relationships, Friends I'm the Black Sheep in my family...this has been the case for as long as I can remember. BUT, I really think that status was put on my head, because, well frankly...my dad is a dick. This has really shown through in the last five years. We moved out of state...but only 7 hours away. My parents have NEVER visited us...EVER. We go "back home" about once a year...mainly to see friends, but we would visit my folks too. Less and less over the years when it bacame apparent how little we meant to them. When I say "we" this includes myself and my husband, but mainly our two kids. Last year's visit...we went out to my folks house. Dad KNEW we were coming...he hadn't seen the kids in a year. Was he there...fuck no. He went to play golf! My son (11 at the time) said it best. " Well...we've been dissed!" IBF.
