Tags: Politics, Government, Hate House majority leader Nancy Pelosi just moved her district congressional office. Big deal you say? Well, we do pay for her rent and apparently her 2,000 square foot office wans't quite enough. Understood. 2,000 sqft is not much room with all the staffers, press coming and going and what not. Nance finds an office that's 50% bigger at a little over 3,000 sqft; not exactly looking at a 20,000 sqft penthouse. Good for her! Rents being what rents are.....she was paying a little over $4,000 per month for her 2,000 sqft so what should 3,000 sqft cost......around 50% more, $6,000 per month??? OF COURSE NOT, lets try $18,700......PER MONTH!!!!!! Are you fucking kidding me? We are in the midst of "the worst economy since the great depression" and you, as House Majority Leader decide it's the right time to increase your rent, that we as tay paying citizens of the US cover, by $170,000 per year?!?!?! ibf

Pompiers at 11:32 AM Apr 13, 2014 I think SP is restricted to conpmaies which are not technical, are locked into Microsoft or have a political need to spend money on software from large vendors to align the company behind it. Any internet startup, or company with technical acumen or constrained resources or who is concerned with costs or value for money will be using a combination of the myriad of superior open source projects or Web services.As for usability, I have a good handle on using The Web, but had to ring a helpdesk to submit a request to travel on my first encounter with a SP site. File->New->add row and other such metaphors from obsolete Office applications simply don't translate to the Web.I gather future direction for Sharepoint is Silverlight, which will make it less useable, especially to those writing browser or curl based mashups or who use mobile, open or assistive devices.
