Tags: Family, relationships, Friends, Hate I was raised by a hypocrite. This trait has reared its ugly head on numerous occasions...but today I'm just going to talk about one. I grew up hearing CONSTANTLY how to deal with money. Dad was a banker at one time...a loan officer to be exact. I heard how I should NEVER have a credit card, car payments were frowned upon, I should have a large savings. Okay...sounds good...maybe (at least part of it) not realistic, but okay. Wow. It was ALL a lie. Credit cards, huge car payment and not much savings. It truly is something when you get to a certain age and realize that your folks are full of shit. ibf.
