A girl in Louisiana, Constance McMillian wanted to attend her prom. The catch? She is gay and she wanted to go to prom with her girlfriend. Her school administrators went wacko. What did they do you ask? They cancelled prom...for everyone. Constance decided to go the mat over this (go Constance!!). There was no prom...not this year. But, the rules have been changed and there will be prom next year, even if god forbid, gays teens want to attend.

P.S. Constance was awarded a settlement of $35,000 by the school!! Turns out one person can change the world. ibf
