Rental Deposits

Tags: Hate, Family, Friends, money Can SOMEONE explain why people that rent say its $900 rent and $900 deposit? That is not a deposit...its last months rent.....a deposit is about 1/2 of the rent. People can not come up with $2000 to move in a place with moving expenses AND deposits for utilities....ONE more question....why do renters charge such high NON-REFUNDABLE pet deposits....I know there are animals that are bad, but what about the WELL MANNERED ones? If you make your pet mind and potty train them they will not tear up a home....besides it doesn't cost $300 to clean after a pet UNLESS there is damage....they have to clean the place and shampoo carpets anyway.....why can't people charge a $100 pet deposit and make it a clause in the lease that if there is FURTHER (PROVEN) damage then the renter agrees to pay for the damages.....Home owners are making it impossible for tenants to rent a home any more. I have a chihuahua that I rescued....she does NOT do anything wrong or damage a thing....so what is my so called $300 for???....their pockets!!!! ibf

Just for our frednis & famadiadlies to think everything’s fine, but it deep inside it’s not.And we don’t want to do of lot of explainading because we don’t know why either. Great writading and keep up the spirit!;)
