Disability for being Fat?

Tags: Current Events, Politics I know someone who just got on SS disability. The reason for it is that she has a condition caused by her weighing 300 freakin' pounds. Instead of the Dr. saying, "GET THIS BLUBBER OFF OF YOU BEFORE IT KILLS YOU", he did the paperwork for her to get disability payments. Your money. My money. Is this rewarding people who refuse to take care of themselves? It really gripes me that my taxes go to this woman who ate her way to 300 lbs. Her husband says she eats a full carton of ice cream every day. Am I being too hard hearted? I am the same age & I take care of myself & go to work everyday. Man, it grates on me. ibf!
