I recently went to the dog park with my two dogs. One is a 6 month old golden mountain dog and the other is a border collie mix. We walked into the fenced area and not one minute later my puppy was on his back in a submission pose, while a big shepherd mix dog was growling on top of him. My puppy, who is very sweet and just laying there, began to be attacked. He was ok, just merely a bit shaken. I know about the whole dominance thing, and that happens and I'm not sure if that's what this other dog was displaying, or if he was just aggressive. An older man throws his hands in the air calling for witnesses. He was calling the humaine society, because this was the second time he had seen this dog attack another out there. They came out and I told them it was not that big of a deal, but really. Who the hell did this guy think he was? If I had a problem with the situation, or say if anyone else had, shouldn't it be up to that individual envolved to do something about it??? Dogs fight, it's in their nature. I can handle mine, they listen real well. If you have a dog that doesn't, maybe you shouldn't let him go with others. However, some people need to just stay out of others business. Get a LIFE! ibf!!
