Duggar Family Expecting Baby 19
The Duggar family has announced that Michelle is pregnant with baby number 19........... now, I respect their religious values that lead them to the philosophy that God will give them as many children as He deems fit. God also helps those who help themselves. At what point, does one say..... okay honey, one more child is okay but I am for sure stopping at 20!
That being said, their children are well behaved and will probably be an asset to society so I say.... bring on more Duggar children! Perhaps they can get jobs to help pay for the thousands of dollars who go to welfare recipients each year who are MORE THAN CAPABLE of working, but choose not too.
- I fail to understand how ausuvoidial rights can be licensed collectively. Can you give me one concrete example? Or name a single Society in the world that licenses these rights?Another point. Collective licensing evolved in the mid-19th century to discharge tasks that where to complex or too onerous to be performed by individual rights owners, such as collecting performing royalties from restaurants, shops, etc. But you cannot extend collective licensing to every aspect of licensing like the revised Amendments seek to do because you will impinge on the right of the owner(s) to exercise control over their property. Though substantially different from goods, IP is a property nevertheless.
- I am so glad someone brought up thr Duggar family. I recently saw that the new baby was born as a "micro-premie" at less than three lbs. Tests are inconclusive at this stage of whether the child will have problems. I was outraged when they stated in an interview that they "were so shocked and scared the baby was so small and could have disabilities." HELLO? At age 25, a woman runs a 1 in 1500 chance of having a child with developmental disabilities. By age 38 (which I believe she is) the risk is a 1 in 11 chance! Anyone who can read can figure what a risk that is. And they said they were suprised? How ignorant can a person be? Shame on her for taking such a risk on her child when she has already been so fortunate!
