What?

Tags: Family Its shocking when you get to a certain age and you realize that your parents have absolutely NO idea who you are. How does this happen? Do they just want to view you the way they wanted you to turn out? In my case that is a very sad scenario. My kids were chatting with my dad on the phone the other day (this is a rarity), they were telling him that we were going swimming. My father did not know that I knew how to swim! How is that possible? It goes much deeper, but for some reason that little tidbit really through me. He taught me for christ sake! IBF.
